Introduction

JsBuild is a simple and easy to use ANT-task for compressing and packaging JavaScript files.

It aims to be a versatile tool for packaging javascript files.

JsBuild is run trough a simple ANT-Task
JsBuild is platform-independent
JsBuild may be fully integrated within Eclipse for easy workflow
The behaviour is controlled via build-properties
Packages are described in a separate XML file
Strings can be appended and prepended to built files (e.g for copyright disclaimer)
Of course, compression can be turned off

For compression it uses the YAHOO's YUI Compressor. See howto.txt in the source file.

JsBuild is an Open Source project and distributed under the MIT license.
